Just caught this in my itunes feed. Very pleased to have you all back and the .pdf sounds like a great idea. In fact I like the sound of this season, all very black dossier. Looking forward to gtting the show back.

Thanks for the update, I was starting to wonder if season 3 was ever coming.

I like the concept for the first few stories; very interesting choice of authors. Though I have to say, I was amazed HP Lovecraft wasn’t one of them. Was it just too obvious?

  3. David —

I think Lovecraft may have been too “on the nose” as you say. But really what it came down to was that we decided to chart different time periods, and we suggested a few ideas. I ended up with the 20’s, and it seemed more fun to do a Dashiell Hammett piece than a Lovecraft piece. Maybe it was a personal preference, but since we kinda do a bit of Lovecraft in all of our episodes, I found it more intriguing to go for a Hammett story. 😉

I am just starting season 3 and wanted to drop a quick note saying how much I have enjoyed the first 2 seasons. The last episode was a cliffhanger for sure.
Intrigued by the intro and off to see the PDF’s as I listen to the first episode, season 3.
Thanks for the great listening pleasure!
