  1. Finally the monotone sarcasm dripping with contentment of Sparrow is back!! You’ve been missed oh meloncholy one! Great episode guys! Lots of people losing their minds! Guess we’re all in for a wild ride.

  2. good job on another crazy episode. all the plot threads seem to be converging. i’m still having a hard time keeping all these mysteries straight, but it certainly has sucked me in.

  3. The Muddy Man? Stay turned… The Muddy Man just might be making an appearance very soon.

  4. Hey, good episode – Crowe is a great character! I was a bit confused about the fight at the funeral though – can anyone tell me what was happening?

  5. Hi Laura — thanks for the comments. Sorry if it got a little confusing…It was meant to be chaotic, but we’re always trying new things with the audio. In a nutshell: Lemora went crazy, Brent got mad at her for talking smack about Emily, Hank stepped in to stop Brent, Brent turned his anger on Hank, and Hank beat him down. Deidre looked after Brent while the sheriff dragged Lemora off, and Crowe watched the whole thing gleefully…whew. I think that about sums it up. I hope that helps!

  6. Oh and a bunch of birds went crazy and something weird happened to Crowe’s phone.

Because, y’know, the episode wasn’t complicated enough already. 🙂

  7. Thanks! Actually I got most of that, I just thought that there was more to Brent and Hank’s fight – I wondered if Brent knew about the affair or Hank thought Brent was responsible for Emily’s death. And there’s the rather cryptic “I know what you did”! Anyway, I’m looking forward to the next episode 🙂

  8. Mmm, that’s a good point, Laura. As the writer of the episode in question, I really wanted to build a scene where everyone came together…but some of the nuance may be lost in that. Yes, Brent was saying “I know what you did,” but he was referring to the affair (we assume at this point).

You’ll get to hear more of Brent in upcoming episodes, and episode 21 (yes, you have to wait 🙂 ) will be an important one for both Brent and Hank.

Thanks again for the comments! The feedback really does help us!

  9. I’m not sure if anyone from the Wormwood crew is still looking at these pages, but I figured its worth a punt.
Basically, I’m a new listener, enjoying the show, who has discovered that this episode doesn’t work in the iTunes feed. The same with episodes 11, 12, and possibly others.

    Love the show.

    Cheers,

    Bronzethumb

  10. Hey Bronzethumb–

We do see all the comments! 😉 As for these episodes, they haven’t fixed the problem with the iTunes feed, but we DID re-post them later in the feed between episodes 19 and 20, I believe. So you can still get them through iTunes that way. Or, you can just download them here. Whichever works. 🙂
