  1. Interesting story, though I’m not sure how it ties in with the events in Wormwood.

While I enjoyed the story itself, the ending seemed a little rushed. For all we know, the main character had killed his entire family and the letters could have been part of a delusion he created after committing the murder. I just felt you left too many loose threads in this one.

Looking forward to seeing what the hand is up to in the 1920’s though.

  2. More on how this ties in to Wormwood as the season progresses. I promise. 😉

Ambrose is an unreliable narrator and our only perspective on his story. I’ll admit, it is a real challenge to tell a story in this epistolary style. There are clues in there as to what happened in his past, but even if that doesn’t come through, It’s still open to interpretation.

  3. That was WONDERFUL! Truly creepy and mysterious. I love Poe, so I had high hopes for this segment.
